Cres: leave room for the landscape
Give the harbour of Cres town a slow first morning. For a different day, consider Lubenice and the view from its high position above the sea. A beach visible far below is not automatically an easy walk: choose a route that suits the terrain, heat and your return climb. Keep one outing deliberately small. The island rewards attention to olive groves, stone boundaries and the changing edge of the coast.

Lošinj: a harbour, then a remarkable museum
In Mali Lošinj, the Museum of Apoxyomenos is devoted to an ancient bronze athlete recovered from the sea. Find it in the Kvarner Palace at Riva lošinjskih kapetana 13. Pair the visit with an unhurried harbour lunch. Save Veli Lošinj for a separate walk around its smaller harbour, and leave the coast some unscheduled time. A museum booking and a day outdoors need different kinds of planning.
