This festival celebrates asparagus, a traditional local delicacy which has been praised and enjoyed among Kvarner locals for centuries.

The International Little Theatre Festival (Međunarodni festival malih scena Rijeka) has been a traditional festival for 15 years gathering the best and most progressive performances of chamber theatre, produced by independent theatre groups from all around Europe. Exact date TBA.

The International Jazz Festival in Rijeka has been gathering international and domestic jazz musicians every year in May for almost 20 years now covering wide range of music from modern world/fusion to traditional jazz music. Festival ends with traditional jam session in one of the local clubs where all festival musicians gather and create exciting and improvised music on the spot.

We are proud to announce the concert of great jazz guitarist John Scofiled in Rijeka. Known as one the Big 3 (along with Metheny and Frisell), Scofield is one the most influential guitarists in contemporary jazz. This is not to be missed by any serious jazz fan!

Eco, Ethno and Vinofest is a fair and entertainment event held every May in historical venue of Krk's town center. The fair promotes local agricultural products as well as its folklore and culture.

Dani črešanj va Lovrane, as locals call it, is held in June when Lovran and its surrounding area become red from the fruit of the unique Lovran cherry species. Exact date TBA.

This relatively young festival has already positioned itself on a European map of urban club and rock music festivals. There are several hotels at the Rijeka centre, near the Hartera festival, all which can be booked at Kvarner.travel.

In the first weekend of July, for nine years in a row, Opatija will be a host to the Liburnia Jazz Festival, which, according to its level of recognition, number of concerts and visitors, is definitely the biggest jazz festival in Croatia and the region. Some of the biggest jazz names played in Opatija such as Eliane Elias, Mike Stern, Richard Bona, Joe Zawinul etc. exact date TBA

Rabska Fjera is a summer festival that takes you back to medieval times. Every summer, Rab inhabitants revive their rich folklore and history! Exact date TBA.

Rijeka Summer Nights (Riječke ljetne noći) is a music and theatre festival that started in 2004, offering a rich cultural program ranging from rock concerts, theatre plays, operas and outdoor art performances!  Exact date TBA.

Ružica Vinodola (Rose of Vinodol) is based on a local custom dating back to the time when the Croatian noble family Frankopan ruled these lands. Exact date TBA.

„Ljeto na Gradini" is a large summer manifestation held at Trsat Castle of Rijeka. It spans from mid-June to mid-September offering various events such as rock, jazz and classical music concerts, theatre plays and film screenings.
