Hotel Televrin

The Hotel Televrin is located at the docklands of Nerezine, a peaceful settlement built at the foot of the Osoršćica Mountain. Nerezine is a small town comprising only 400 inhabitants, with an ancient urban structure and traditional culture. Over the centuries, its inhabitants have been working as fishermen at the sea or as farmers on the nearby slopes.

Until 1955, the island's autonomous administration resided in the building that now houses the hotel. A variety of regimes and political systems have reigned here, up to the day when Nerezine finally became part of the greater community of Lošinj. The ancient town hall was renovated and modernized nearly a century after its construction. Since the spring of 2004, it has served as a hotel and restaurant. The hotel is named after ‘Televrin', the summit of the Osoršćica Mountains which towers 589 m over the islands and the sea.

The restaurant Televrin includes a bar and a dining room and has a loggia towards the harbour as well as a terrace towards the park. It offers local Mediterranean seafood as well as unique combinations of the island's local specialties with international cuisine.
